Hey, help me choose a party.

Yeah, I know, it's kind of dopey for an Anarchist to sign up for a political party, but whatever, I probably won't vote anyway.

Help me out:

Socialist Party is my top choice. Socialist Workers Party and Party for Socialism and Liberation are up there, too.

Ecology Party and Green Party might be choices.

I may end up joining Surfers Party of America for the lulz.

I don't understand why a anarchist would join a communist/socialist group, but it is up to you, afterall.

Hmm, i dunno, but maybe it's because he is an anarchist-communist. But that's just a wild guess.

Anyway, i'd encourage you to refrain from voting on bourgeois referendums and elections, since there is no possibility of the working class gaining a victory from it. The best you can do is vote for the lesser of two evils and hope no one finds out you voted, since it is a gross contradiction of principles. Not to mention you would legitimize not only the regime (or referendum) you voted for, but also the way in which they came to power, bourgeois democracy, as well as the invested power itself.

To be honest, I just want to join a party for shits and giggles. I wouldn't vote or anything, not that it would do much. The idea only came to me because I know that I'm going to leave the Democratic party, and I couldn't decide on whether I should just not join a party at all, or if I should join one of the more left-oriented parties just for the hell of it.

Also, I like Anarcho-Communists, but I'm an Anarcho-Syndicalist.

lol, actually, apparently some baseball star ran for the rhino party of canada in the u.s. - he didn't appear in any states as an OPTION because of the fucked up way we treat third parties, but he still ran ^_^

so i think you can join the rhino party of canada...in the u.s.

afterall, one of their goals is to annex the u.s. so as to end foreign control of natural resources LOL
